Are you going to be amongst the first people to buy the iPhone 3G? If so, when do you plan on picking yours up and which one will you be purchasing?

Not me. I have my N95 still on a plan. But B is getting one. He preregistered with vodafone. But we were supremely disappointed with the pricing plans vodafone offered and by that time Optus had removed the link on their site for deposits. They sold out before 9am. Kinda suckey. He should get his phone sometime next week but I think he was still a little disappointed not to have had it on the day to play with...

When did you last write/receive a handwritten, snail-mail letter? Who was it to/from?

The last snail mail letter I received was actually a care package from Pippa while she was living in Finland. I'm actually quite embarrassed as I haven't yet thanked her for it and it came months ago.... But I'll never forget the feeling I had when I opened it. I had such a surge of joy seeing all the wonderful treasures she had sent me.

I still often take it out and peek inside when I'm having a blue day. It's amazing how acts of simple kindness can have the most profound and lasting effects on a person.

I really must sit down a finally write a thank you letter of my own....
