Reading...
I bought this book today after it found it's way onto my desk at work. I was telling a co-worker about Guerrilla Gardening and how I was looking forward to this book being released. It had been ordered for the store but I wasn't expecting it to be here so soon! I've only had a chance to flick through it briefly but it looks really interesting!

Trying to catch up on old X files episodes in anticipation of the movie coming out. I get unflinchingly geeky when it comes to old Mulder & Scully. What can I say? They were with me through my awkward formative years... It takes all my restraint not to defiantly hang an I want to believe poster on my bedroom wall. (moving on...)
Curious about...
I read today that newspapers in the UK have "unmasked" Banksy. Apparently, a newspaper had been working for years gathering info through interviews, photos and other means to try and figure out his real identity. I must say I am a little curious about this, but I'm also really disappointed that once again the mystery of something enigmatic has been ruined in peoples obsessive quest of "need-to-know". I believe that a large part of his artistic appeal (and process for that matter) was the element of mystery and illegality of his work.

Are you going to be amongst the first people to buy the iPhone 3G? If so, when do you plan on picking yours up and which one will you be purchasing?
Not me. I have my N95 still on a plan. But B is getting one. He preregistered with vodafone. But we were supremely disappointed with the pricing plans vodafone offered and by that time Optus had removed the link on their site for deposits. They sold out before 9am. Kinda suckey. He should get his phone sometime next week but I think he was still a little disappointed not to have had it on the day to play with...
A a little Peewee flew into the stairwell of our building today, in through an open doorway. He went up three flights of stairs and rested, exhausted, on the photocopier in the hallway at the top. A trio of us tried to coax him out, but in the end we had to catch him and carry him outside into the alleyway. I crouched on the ground and gently opened my hands but he just continued to sit there startled from the confusion just before.
Then he flew away, up and over the roof out of sight without looking back. The end.
Tonight I ate at a Japanese restaurant where the waiters took turns playing the piano in their aprons. They all seemed really relaxed. Later, I had a mini Lemon Meringue with icecream all to myself. I saw a dog being walked which stopped at each table to say hello to people eating. I'm tired, but it was a good night.
